This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which stores information in your browser, and pixels embedded in pages or emails. They let a site remember your choices, keep features working and, where used, measure how a site is used.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we need your consent before setting anything that is not strictly necessary. We ask for this through the banner shown on your first visit.
2. What this website uses
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and do not need consent.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| panache-consent-v1 | This website (local storage) | Remembers the cookie choices you made in the banner so we do not ask again. | Until you clear your browser data |
Functional (your consent needed)
Third-party features we embed. They are held back until you accept them, either in the banner or by clicking "Load" on the feature itself.
| Feature | Provider | What it sets | More information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Map on the contact page and home page | Google Maps (Google LLC) | Cookies such as NID and CONSENT, used by Google to run the map and remember preferences. Typically kept for 6 months. | Google cookie policy |
| Online booking widget | Phorest | Session and preference cookies needed for the booking flow. | Phorest privacy policy |
Analytics (your consent needed)
We do not currently use any analytics cookies. If we add a tool such as Google Analytics in future, it will only run after you opt in, and this page will be updated to list it.
Marketing (your consent needed)
We do not currently set any advertising or marketing cookies.
3. Things that are not cookies
- Fonts: the site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. This sends your browser's request, including your IP address, to Google, but does not set cookies.
- Images and video: some media is served from a content delivery network. Again, this involves a request from your browser but no cookies.
4. How to change your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by , or by using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the links below explain how for common browsers.
Blocking all cookies may stop the online booking widget or map from working, but you can always book by phone on 01923 833600.
5. Contact
